In November 2024, Iris made a trip to Grand Island, New York, to the AYM High Consultants headquarters and adjacent training facility, Island Ship Center. There, she spent a long, intense weekend with Yusuf, Seema, Fahim, and their team, experiencing dedicated, customized training and stargazing to set Iris up for success. Coaching has continued on calls and emails and texts as Iris needs in order to guide her to profitability and allow her to soar.
Goals
Assist Iris plan a new business and successfully open her first location in North Carolina.
Results
Iris’ new business is growing strong, thanks to her partnership with AYM High. From Iris, here are some key highlights from her recent work with AYM Consultants that have greatly benefited her operations and customers:
“One significant improvement we’ve made is resizing shipping boxes to optimize space, addressing the common issue of customers paying for unnecessary empty space. By applying the skills I learned from AMBC videos and onsite training with AYM Consultants, we’ve been able to reduce shipping costs for multiple customers, offering them a clear win-win situation.
Educating our customers on how to maximize box space has been crucial. This approach has led to cost savings, which in turn has built stronger relationships and encouraged customer loyalty, as we continue to see repeat business.
Additionally, small but effective practices—such as using code words in customer notes to streamline communication and ensure organization knowledge is passed to new staff—have enhanced our internal processes. This has saved us significant time and effort, preventing new employees from starting from scratch.
We are also trying to diversify: DHL service, canvas printing, expedited passport service, promotional products for small business owners.”
